Energy Recovery System
The recovery of energy is made possible from the tunnel kiln and from the Shuttle kilns.

The recovery ducting are normally installed in the combustion and cooling chimneys but in the case of tunnel kiln, there are other possibilities for getting the energy recovery.
Some special expedient have been studied for the combustion chimneys to avoid any corrosion effect from acids.

As a matter of fact the evaporable substances contained in the combustive gas (sulphur, chlorine, fluorine etc), can produce a high corrosive condensate due to the combination with water in some determined concentration and temperature values.

In order to use the energy recovered in the circuit (close loop) of hot water up to 95 °c or 120 °c superheated it is necessary to run a centralized system of energies, and then install a thermal power station.
Hence, circuits compose by insulated pipelines, connect all uses (dryers, conditioning, casting room, slip heating).
The amount of energy available on the kiln are measured by our technicians as it is shown that the theoretical data are unreliable.
